The CISSP certification is relatively conceptual when comparing with CEH which is more tactical. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) is a vendor-neutral certification governed by the ISC2. It is considered one of the premiere Information Security certifications. According to ISC2, CISSP applicants must have at least one of the following to qualify:

- A minimum of four years of direct full-time security professional work experience in one or more of the ten domains of the Common Body of Knowledge
- Three years of direct full-time of the Common Body of Knowledge with a four-year college degree.

Success factors in the CISSP exam = 30% TECHNOLOGY + 70% THEORIES AND CONCEPTS. We are not talking about the percentage of questions here. We are talking about the success factor - the technology questions are easy to answer because they are mostly based on factual information. The conceptual questions are difficult because they are written to be tricky and a little confusing.
